So...for those of you who do not know...I have applied for an assistant principal position. Let me tell you it is the strangest process EVER. You go in for a panel interview (that is timed) and wait for results. They interviewed over 250 people. From there you are put into the pool. So...after waiting...and waiting...I finally got the news that I made it into the pool! I was so happy! I thought that because I had not heard anything and some of my friends had that meant it was bad. But after about a week of freak outs I finally got my letter! Great News! So now I sit...waiting to get an interview for a position. Making it into the pool does not guarantee anything so I have to go in for another interview and then wow whomever I interview with. I don't really know yet how it all works. My friend has her interview tomorrow so hopefully she can give me some info! I have heard so many rumors...I just don't know what to think! I have heard that not many people made it into the pool so a lot of the pool will get jobs. I've heard that most principals already know who they want and the interviews are just a formality...I have heard that they have to pick by Friday. I have heard that they may not pick and that you could just get assigned by one of the directors to a school. I swear...being new really stinks sometimes...I have no clue what is going on and I don't know many people so I don't know who I can ask. I am really trying to stay positive and know that God has a plan. But did I mention that I am really IMPATIENT?
